  1. I can’t be there to listen to the live podcast, but I’l make sure to listen a recording of it.

    The idea of e-mail marketing has been for a long time of great interest to me, although I couldn’t yet think of a way to implement into my site a “join my e-mail list” system that would make people actually want to sign up.

    So I’m seeking ways to provide value to my e-mail list, enough to make people want to be a part of it. And that’s fairly difficult, unless you give away free artwork or something. Hopefully the podcast will give me some pointers on this matter.

  2. I had neglected my newsletter for various reasons and recently decided to get my act together and published again. I am writing because I want to share with your readers something astonishing. I received an email back from someone who had signed up to follow my work 7 years ago. This person was apologizing and felt a bit embarrassed to ask if I still had a certain painting she had seen 7 years ago. She said at the time she could not afford it and wanted to see how much it costs today. I just send her a quote and weather this inquiry will result in a sale is to be seen.

    My point however is that you never know who is opening your newsletter and sometimes even though you get many unsubscribes, there will be those true admirers that are just waiting for the right moment to come forward.
